Deck Tax Implications

There's a good chance that your deck will affect your real estate tax bills. As soon as you apply for building permit, your tax assessor will know that your house's value is about to increase. Once the deck is completed there's a good chance that your property will be reassessed.

Hiring a Contractor

If you decide to hire a contractor to build your deck, it pays to spend some time to be sure that you weed out the bad apples and hire a reliable pro.

Get several references, and check the final candidates with CSLB, for license insurance and worker's compensation.

Green Building

There's  nothing mysterious about green remodeling - it's just applied common sense.
We only work with recycled-Content or FSC-Certified Decking.

Your Job

Done Right

Besides being exposed to the weather, the deck often
gets heavy foot traffic. Environmentally sound alternatives
to conventional lumber can extend the
life of the deck and conserve natural resources.
